Introduction
Assertiveness training has gained popularity in recent years as a means to empower individuals to effectively communicate their needs, thoughts, and feelings in a clear and confident manner. Methodology
Participants
The study included a total of 50 participants, aged 18 to 45 years, who volunteered to participate in a 6-week assertiveness training program. The participants were recruited from a local community center and were from diverse backgrounds, including students, working professionals, and individuals seeking personal growth and development.
Procedure
The assertiveness training program consisted of weekly sessions conducted by a certified assertiveness trainer. Each session was designed to teach participants various skills and techniques to improve their assertiveness, including effective communication, setting boundaries, and handling conflict. Participants engaged in role-playing exercises, group discussions, and homework assignments to practice and reinforce the skills learned in the sessions.
Assessment
